When my friend and his family went to Palawan here in the Philippines for diving holidays, they made sure they brought with them their underwater camera. Actually it was just an SLR camera with a housing which protects it fully when brought underwater. They also brought along their newly bought powerful strobe light to be able to take clearer pictures underwater. All these were thrown in with their swimsuits, diving gear, goggles and snorkels, flippers, bath towels and sun hats. They wanted us to come with them but it wasn’t possible because they scheduled their trip at the time when the Sinulog festivities started.

When they came home after a week, they shared with us the pictures they took during the trip. The place was really beautiful; they also toured a few of the tourist attractions that Palawan had. But the most beautiful pictures they had taken were those from under the sea which showed various marine life that I never saw before.
