Since my husband and I both had crooked teeth and had to wear braces, it was easy to assume that our children would need braces also. Once our oldest daughter had all of her permanent teeth, we had to find a Fresno orthodontist to handle her orthodontic treatment. Thankfully, she only had to wear her braces for twelve months. My other two younger daughters also needed to have orthodontic treatment. Since we moved to another state, we had to find an orthodontist in Boise to handle their treatment. Both girls have extremely crowded teeth. My youngest daughter has severe crowding with her lower teeth. The older one has some crowding with her top teeth. Both girls will probably need treatment for a minimum of one year. Since they are still young, their teeth should move quickly. If they start at the same time, they should have their braces removed about the same time. Also, they can get their appointments scheduled together. With both girls receiving treatment, the orthodontist will probably apply a large discount to the total cost of their bill. This is a great advantage to have them get their braces together. Now, we just need to find the best orthodontist in town.
